IDIOMA ESPAÑOL

PREÁMBULO

Las siguientes normas son aplicables a la prueba de natación de La Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas entre la isla de Ons y Sanxenxo, de 13 km de distancia, y que pueden estar sujetas a cambios desde el momento de su publicación hasta la celebración de la prueba. En caso de duda en su interpretación prevalecerá la opinión y decisión de la organización. Todos los participantes, con su inscripción, aceptan íntegramente el presente reglamento y el descargo de responsabilidad (ver apartado de responsabilidad).

PARTICIPACIÓN

La participación está abierta a todos aquellos nadadores federados y no federados mayores de edad y menores que cumplan 16 años en 2025 y estén federados. Los nadadores menores de edad deberán enviar por correo a info@triplecoronaillasatlanticas.com la licencia federativa y la autorización firmada por su padre, madre o tutor legal conforme está capacitado para realizar la prueba (ver apartado Autorización menores). Una vez presentada la documentación, la organización decidirá bajo criterios técnicos si autoriza o no la participación del menor y se le comunicará por correo electrónico.

Tendrán prioridad en la inscripción aquellos nadadores que han completado ediciones o pruebas de la Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas entre 2015 y 2024.

SALIDA

El embarque de los participantes a la isla de Ons se realizará el 6 de septiembre a las 06:45 horas desde el puerto deportivo situado en Sanxenxo. La salida del barco será a las 07:15 horas. Podrán llevar en el barco UNA ÚNICA bolsa PEQUEÑA para llevar algunas pertenencias. Esta bolsa se depositará, con el número de dorsal pegado por fuera, en la playa de Area dos Cans en el lugar indicado por la organización. Además, en el punto de salida en Sanxenxo, habrá un servicio de guardarropa por si los nadadores quieren dejar una segunda bolsa. Ambas bolsas se devolverán en el punto de llegada en la playa de Silgar, en Sanxenxo.

La salida de la travesía se realizará desde la playa de Area dos Cans, en la isla de Ons.

La organización establecerá 5 grupos de nado según el nivel de los participantes en la inscripción para la salida. La prueba será competitiva desde Ons. Cada nadador facilitará a la organización en la inscripción el tiempo que emplea en nadar 3.000 metros a ritmo de travesía en el mar para la clasificación de los grupos en el punto de salida.

El ritmo mínimo de nado para participar en la travesía es de 3 km/hora. No se admitirán nadadores por debajo de este ritmo.

No se podrán establecer más de 30 nadadores por cada grupo. No se admitirán más nadadores por encima de esta cifra.

La configuración de los grupos se dará a conocer un mes antes de la celebración de la prueba. El listado de grupos se comunicará mediante correo electrónico y a través de la página web de la travesía. No se admitirá ningún cambio un mes antes de la celebración de la prueba.

La división de los grupos para la salida se establecerá según los siguientes tiempos de nado:

TIEMPOS LÍMITE DE PASO

La organización establecerá tres controles de paso por donde deberán pasar obligatoriamente los nadadores en el tiempo indicado por la organización. Estos controles de paso estarán situados en los kilómetros 3,5 (tiempo máximo 1 hora y 15 minutos), 7 (tiempo máximo 3 horas) y 10 (tiempo máximo 5 horas) coincidiendo con los tres puntos de avituallamiento de la prueba. En dichos controles de paso habrá embarcaciones señalizadas con una bandera de color fosforito. En el caso de que los nadadores no pasen por estos controles en los tiempos establecidos serán subidos a las embarcaciones. El tiempo máximo para realizar la prueba será de 6 horas.

Los nadadores deberán pasar obligatoriamente por estos controles de paso a una distancia no superior a los 10 metros sino serán descalificados sino pasan en la distancia indicada.

BOYAS CONTROLES DE PASO

Los nadadores deberán seguir el recorrido marcado por la organización y las indicaciones de la dirección y embarcaciones de apoyo. Los nadadores deberán pasar obligatoriamente por las boyas colocadas en el recorrido a una distancia no superior de 10 metros. Las boyas se dejarán obligatoriamente a la DERECHA del nadador, excepto las boyas colocadas en paralelo a la Playa de Silgar, que se dejarán a la IZQUIERDA. Estas boyas serán puntos de control de paso controlados de forma electrónica. En caso de no pasar por estas boyas en la distancia indicada, los nadadores serán descalificados y no aparecerán en la clasificación.

NEOPRENO

El neopreno será obligatorio.

Los nadadores que quieran realizar la prueba sin traje de neopreno deberán indicarlo en la inscripción, contactar con la organización y enviar un currículum deportivo al correo electrónico info@triplecoronaillasatlanticas.com conforme tiene experiencia en la realización de travesías a nado sin neopreno. La organización valorará la documentación enviada y comunicará al participante la posibilidad de participar o no sin neopreno.

Los nadadores que realicen la travesía con bañadores que cubran más de la mitad de la pierna, así como los fabricados con neopreno u otro material similar quedarán excluidos de la categoría sin neopreno.

AVITUALLAMIENTOS

Los nadadores tendrán a su disposición tres avituallamientos en los kilómetros 3,5, 7 y 10, coincidiendo con los tres controles de paso. Habrá embarcaciones de apoyo perfectamente señalizadas suministrando fruta, geles, barritas, bebidas energéticas y agua. Además, los nadadores tendrán a su disposición bebidas calientes, vaselina y gafas de repuesto.

El avituallamiento lo dispensará la organización y no se permitirá ningún avituallamiento que no provenga de las embarcaciones dispuestas para ello.

El avituallamiento será voluntario pero los nadadores deberán pasar obligatoriamente por estos controles de paso a una distancia no superior a 10 metros sino serán descalificados.

CIERRE DE LA PRUEBA

El tiempo máximo para la realización de la prueba será de 6 horas. Si la organización lo estimara necesario por condiciones meteorológicas adversas, retraso en la salida, etc. el tiempo de corte podría variar dependiendo del estado y las condiciones del mar.

Transcurrido este tiempo, la organización retirará a los participantes que no hayan completado la prueba.

BOYA DE SEGURIDAD

El uso de la boya de seguridad con compartimento estanco será obligatorio para todos los participantes donde llevarán el dispositivo de GPS en su interior. Está totalmente prohibido abrirla durante la prueba. Cada nadador traerá su propia boya de seguridad. La organización ofrecerá descuentos para la compra de boyas a los nadadores.

DISPOSITIVO GPS DE SEGUIMIENTO

Los nadadores estarán controlados por un dispositivo GPS, que deberán llevar dentro de la boya, que permitirá la geolocalización y el seguimiento de cada participante a través de Internet. Cada nadador será responsable del uso correcto del dispositivo. Los nadadores deberán devolver el GPS al terminar la competición en la meta. Si algún participante no lo devolviese se le reclamará su importe (130 euros+IVA). La organización explicará el funcionamiento de este dispositivo durante la reunión técnica que se celebrará el día anterior de la prueba en Sanxenxo. Los GPS se entregarán con la bolsa del nadador y se devolverán obligatoriamente en meta con el chip electrónico.

CHIPS ELECTRÓNICOS

El cronometraje de la prueba será electrónico a través de la empresa Champion Chip Norte. La organización entregará el chip con la bolsa en la reunión técnica que se celebrará el 5 de septiembre en Sanxenxo. El uso del chip es obligatorio para poder participar en la prueba. Los nadadores deberán devolver el chip al terminar la competición. Si algún participante no lo devolviese deberá pagar su importe (8 euros).

SEGURIDAD EN EL MAR

La organización pondrá en marcha un amplio dispositivo de seguridad en el mar, coordinado por el responsable de seguridad de la prueba y la dirección de la travesía, que estarán en contacto permanente con Capitanía Marítima de Vigo y la Autoridad Portuaria de Marín.

La organización contará con la colaboración de los servicios de Emerxencias de Sanxenxo, Guardia Civil del Mar, Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, Nauta Sanxenxo, Búsqueda y Salvamento de Galicia, Gardacostas de Galicia, Parque Nacional das Illas Atlánticas de Galicia, así como diversos clubes náuticos, piragüismo y paddle surf.

Las embarcaciones de seguridad serán las designadas por la organización. No se permitirá que ninguna otra embarcación acompañe de forma personalizada a un ningún nadador durante la travesía.

RETIRADA DE LOS NADADORES

El equipo de seguridad de la prueba podrá retirar de la competición a un nadador cuando considere que tiene mermadas sus capacidades físicas, no muestre coherencia, presente síntomas de hipotermia, no pasa por los controles de paso en los tiempos estipulados o si se retrasa de forma reiterada poniendo en peligro la seguridad de la prueba.

LLEGADA A META

El orden de llegada en salir del agua será la clasificación, por lo tanto, no está permitido correr ni adelantar entre el tramo del agua y la alfombra de detección de tiempo, sino que se seguirá el orden de llegada de salida del agua, caminando hasta la alfombra de cronometraje para la toma del tiempo.

La organización establecerá un punto en la orilla en la playa de Silgar a partir de cual ningún nadador podrá correr ni adelantar una vez que alcance la orilla sino será descalificado.

En meta los nadadores deberán entregar el GPS y el chip electrónico y podrán acceder a la zona de avituallamiento.

RESULTADOS

Los resultados podrán consultarse en directo y exclusivamente en la página web de www.championchipnorte.com.

ENTREGA DE TROFEOS

La organización entregará los siguientes trofeos:

  • Trofeos y regalos cedidos por los patrocinadores y colaboradores a los tres primeros clasificados absolutos en las categoría masculina y femenina y a los tres primeros clasificados sin neopreno (masculina y femenina).
  • Trofeo al equipo con mayor número de nadadores que finalicen la prueba
  • Trofeo Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas Especial 10ºAniversario.

La entrega de premios se realizará al finalizar la travesía en la playa de Silgar.

DERECHO DE ADMISIÓN

El Derecho de admisión está reconocido en el artículo 59.1.e) del Real Decreto 2816/1982, de 27 de agosto, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento General de Policía de Espectáculos y Actividades Recreativas, extendiéndose su campo a todo tipo de establecimientos destinados al público, independientemente de que sean de titularidad pública o privada. La organización se reserva dicho derecho y la posibilidad de anular la inscripción de cualquier participante cuando lo crea oportuno.

DESCALIFICACIONES

-Ayudarse de cualquier tipo de embarcación o medio auxiliar.
-Cuando la organización valore que un participante está poniendo en riesgo su integridad física el cual deberá abandonar la travesía.
-El nadador que no pase por los controles de paso obligatorios.
-El nadador que no pase por los controles de paso obligatorios en los tiempos establecidos por la organización.
-El nadador que pase por las boyas colocadas durante el recorrido de forma incorrecta y a una distancia superior a los 10 metros.
-El nadador que corra una vez alcanzada la orilla para pasar por el arco de meta.
-El nadador que muestre conductas antideportivas o no acate las normas de la organización.
-Cualquier otra circunstancia no prevista en el presente reglamento pero que, a juicio de la organización, sea motivo de descalificación.

La organización se reserva el derecho a descalificar y vetar la participación en sucesivas ediciones de aquel nadador que no acate las decisiones de la organización o muestre conductas no adecuadas o irrespetuosas con cualquier miembro de la organización u otros nadadores.

MODIFICACIÓN O SUSPENSIÓN DE LA TRAVESÍA

La organización se reserva el derecho de retrasar la salida, modificar, neutralizar o cancelar la travesía por motivos de seguridad, causas de fuerza mayor, (niebla, oleaje, viento, etc.) bajo alerta de las autoridades marítimas competentes y/o fenómenos meteorológicos adversos. Si la salida llegara a producirse, la prueba se considerará como realizada, aún en el caso de suspenderse durante su celebración.

En el supuesto de tener que suspenderse la prueba por causas meteorológicas adversas, no se reembolsará el importe de las inscripciones.

Este reglamento puede ser modificado o corregido por la organización para un óptimo desarrollo de la prueba.

Una vez realizada la inscripción se muestra conformidad del participante con dicho reglamento y el compromiso de seguridad y responsabilidad de la prueba.

ENGLISH LANGUAJE

PREAMBLE

The following norms apply to the Illas Atlánticas Triple Crown open water swimming contest that will take place from the Ons Island to Sanxenxo, covering 13 km. They may be subject to changes since they are made public until the date of the contest. Should any doubt arise over the interpretation of this regulation, the view and decision of the organization will prevail. All registered participants fully accept this regulation and the disclaimer (see liability section).

PARTICIPATION

Participation is open to all federated and non-federated swimmers of legal age and minors who will be 16 years old in 2025 and are federated. Under-age swimmers must email to info@triplecoronaillasatlanticas.com the federation licence and the authorisation signed by their father, mother or legal guardian that they are able to take part in the event (see section Authorisation of minors). Once the documentation has been submitted, the organisers will decide, based on technical criteria, whether or not to authorise the participation of the minor and will notify them by e-mail.
Those swimmers who have completed editions or races of the ‘Triple Crown Illas Atlánticas’ (Atlantic Islands Triple Crown) between 2015 and 2024 will be prioritised in the registration.

DEPARTURE

The departure of the participants to the Ons Island will take place on Saturday 6 September at 06:45 from marina located in Sanxenxo. The boat will leave at 07:15. Participants may leave on the ship a small bag they will be given the previous day with their tournament ID number to bring some of their belongings. There will also be a cloakroom service at the point of departure in Sanxenxo in case the swimmers want to leave a second bag.

Both bags will be returned at the arrival on Silgar beach, in Sanxenxo.

The departure of the contest will take place from the beach of Area dos Cans in the Ons Island.

The organisation will arrange five swimming groups according to the level of the participants in the registration for the beginning of the race. The race will be competitive from the island of Ons. Each swimmer will provide the organisation with the time taken to swim 3,000 metres at sea crossing pace for the classification of the groups at the starting point.
The minimum swimming pace to participate in the crossing is 3 km/hour. Swimmers below this pace will not be admitted.
The number of swimmers in each group shall not exceed 30 swimmers. No more swimmers above this number may be admitted.
The configuration of the groups will be made public one month before the event. The list of groups will be communicated by e-mail and on the website of the race. No changes will be admitted one month before the event.
The division of groups will be established in accordance with the following swimming times:

Pace at 3,000m

Group A 32-39m
Group B 40-44m
Group C 45m-49m
Group D 50m-54m
Group E 55m-60m

TIME LIMITS FOR PASSAGE

The organisers will set up three checkpoints through which swimmers must compulsorily pass within the time indicated by the organisers. These checkpoints will be located at kilometres 3.5 (maximum time 1 hour and 15 minutes), 7 (maximum time 3 hours) and 10 (maximum time 5 hours), coinciding with the three refreshment stations of the race. At these checkpoints there will be boats marked with a fluorescent-coloured flag. Failure to complete these checkpoints within the established times will result in swimmers being lifted into the boats. The maximum time to complete the race will be 6 hours.
Swimmers must swim through these checkpoints at a distance of no more than 10 metres. Failure to do so will result in disqualification if they do not pass within the indicated distance.

PASSAGE CONTROL BUOYS

Swimmers must follow the course marked by the organisation and the indications of the organisers and support boats. Swimmers must compulsorily pass the buoys placed on the course at a distance of no more than 10 metres. The buoys must be passed to the swimmer’s RIGHT, except for the buoys placed parallel to the Silgar beach, which must be passed to the LEFT. These buoys will be electronically controlled checkpoints. Failure to swim through these buoys within the indicated distance will result in disqualification and the swimmers will not appear in the classification.

WETSUIT

Wetsuit is compulsory. Swimmers who wish to take part in the event without a wetsuit must indicate so on the registration form, contact the organisers and send a curriculum vitae to the e-mail address info@triplecoronaillasatlanticas.com stating that they have experience in swimming without a wetsuit. The organisation will evaluate the documentation submitted and will inform the participant of the possibility of participating or not without neoprene.
Swimmers who swim the crossing with swimming costumes that cover more than half of the leg, as well as those made of neoprene or other similar material will be excluded from the category without neoprene.

REFRESHMENT SUPPLIES

Three refreshment stations will be available for swimmers at kilometres 3.5, 7 and 10, coinciding with the three checkpoints. There will be perfectly signposted support boats supplying fruit, gels, bars, energy drinks and water. In addition, hot drinks, vaseline and spare goggles will be available for swimmers.
Refreshments will be provided by the organisers and no refreshments other than those provided by the boats will be allowed.
Refreshments will be voluntary but swimmers must pass through these checkpoints at a distance of no more than 10 metres, otherwise they will be disqualified.

CLOSING OF THE RACE

The maximum time for the completion of the race will be 6 hours. If the organisers deem it necessary due to adverse weather conditions, delays at the start, etc., the closing time may vary depending on the state and conditions of the sea.

Once this time has elapsed, the organisers will withdraw the participants who have not completed the race.

SAFETY BUOY

The use of the safety buoy with watertight compartment will be compulsory for all participants where they will carry the GPS device inside. It is strictly forbidden to open it during the race. Each swimmer will bring their own safety buoy. The organisation will offer discounts for the purchase of buoys to swimmers.

GPS TRACKING DEVICE

Swimmers will be monitored by a GPS device, which must be carried inside the buoy, which will allow the geolocation and tracking of each participant through the Internet. Each swimmer will be responsible for the correct use of the device. Swimmers must return the GPS device at the finish line at the end of the competition. If any participant does not return it, they will be charged the full amount (130 euros + VAT). The organisers will explain how this device works during the technical meeting to be held the day before the race in Sanxenxo. The GPS will be delivered with the swimmer’s bag and must be returned at the finish line with the electronic chip.

ELECTRONIC CHIPS

The timing of the race will be electronic through the company Champion Chip Norte. The organisation will deliver the chip with the swimmer’s bag at the technical meeting to be held on September 5th in Sanxenxo. The use of the chip is compulsory to participate in the race. Swimmers must return the chip at the end of the competition. Failure to return the chip will result in the participant having to pay for it (8 euros).

SAFETY AT SEA

The organisers will implement a wide range of safety measures at sea, coordinated by the race safety officer and the race management, who will be in permanent contact with the Vigo Maritime Harbour Master’s Office and the Port Authority of Marín.
The organisation will be assisted by the Sanxenxo Emergency Services, Guardia Civil del Mar (Maritime Civil Guard), Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, Nauta Sanxenxo, Search and Rescue of Galicia, Gardacostas de Galicia (Galician Coastguard), Parque Nacional das Illas Atlánticas de Galicia (National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia), as well as various sailing, canoeing and paddle surfing clubs.

The safety boats will be those designated by the organisation. No other boat will be allowed to accompany any swimmer during the crossing.

WITHDRAWAL OF SWIMMERS

The safety team of the race may withdraw a swimmer from the competition when it considers that he/she has a reduced physical capacity, does not show coherence, shows signs of hypothermia, fails to pass the checkpoints within the stipulated time or if he/she is repeatedly late, thus endangering the safety of the race.

ARRIVAL AT THE END OF THE RACE

The order of arrival out of the water will be the classification, therefore, you are not allowed to run or overtake between the stretch of water and the carpet of detection of time. The order of arrival out of the water will be followed, walking to the timing mat for time taking.
The organisers will establish a point on the shore at Silgar beach from which no swimmer may run or overtake once they reach the shore; otherwise they will be disqualified.

At the finish line, swimmers must hand in their GPS and electronic chip and will be allowed access to the refreshment area.

RESULTS

The results will be available live and exclusively on the website www.championchipnorte.com.

TROPHY AWARDS

The organisation will award the following trophies:
1.Trophies and gifts provided by the sponsors and partners to the first three absolute finishers in the male and female categories and to the first three finishers without neoprene (male and female).
2. Trophy for the team with the largest number of swimmers completing the race.

3. Special 10º Anniversary Triple Crown Trophy.
The awards ceremony will take place once the crossing has finished on Silgar beach.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

The right of admission is recognised in article 59.1.e) of Royal Decree 2816/1982, of 27 August, which approves the General Regulations on Policing of Entertainment and Recreational Activities, extending its scope to all types of facilities open to the public, regardless of whether they are public or private ownership. The organisers reserve this right and the possibility of cancelling the registration of any participant when they deem it appropriate.

DISQUALIFICATIONS

-Using any type of boat or auxiliary means.
-When the organisation considers that a participant is putting his or her physical integrity at risk, he or she must abandon the crossing.
-Swimmers failing to pass through the obligatory checkpoints.
-Swimmers failing to pass through the obligatory checkpoints within the times established by the organisers.
-Swimmers passing through the buoys placed during the course incorrectly and at a distance of more than 10 metres.
-Swimmers who run once they have reached the shore to pass through the finish arch.
-Swimmers displaying non-sporting behaviour or failing to abide by the rules of the organisation.
-Any other circumstance not provided for in these regulations but which, in the opinion of the organisers, is grounds for disqualification.
The organisation reserves the right to disqualify and veto the participation in successive editions of any swimmer who does not abide by the decisions of the organisation or shows inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour towards any member of the organisation or other swimmers.

MODIFICATION OR SUSPENSION OF THE EVENT

The organisers reserve the right to delay the start, modify, neutralise or cancel the race due to safety reasons, force majeure (fog, waves, wind, etc.) under alert from the competent maritime authorities and/or adverse weather conditions. If the start takes place, the race will be considered as completed, even if it is suspended during the race.
In the event of the race having to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the registration fee will not be refunded.

 

These regulations may be modified or amended by the organisers in order to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible.

Once the registration has been made, the participant agrees with these regulations and the commitment to safety and responsibility of the race.
